Eddie Facey has been a member of the Clark County Republican Central Committee since 2008, and has served in the roles of Treasurer and Vice Chair pro tem.  He is currently a Trustee representing Commission District A.  He is also a member of the Nevada Republican Central Committee, where he served on the Nominations Committee.

Eddie has served in a management and consulting role for various campaigns for Federal, State and Local offices.  In these roles, he has evaluated and implemented emerging technologies that help candidates better deliver their messages and track campaign and volunteer activity.  From design to direct mail to telephone automation solutions to various data solutions, Eddie has brought innovation and affordable technology to several Republican campaigns.

In the 2016 election cycle, Eddie served as Western Regional Director for a SuperPAC supporting a Republican Presidential candidate.  Responsibilities including recruiting, managing, encouraging and supporting State Directors in twelve western states.  While primary responsibilities were to the Board of Directors for the PAC, the best part was working with and nurturing potential conservative leaders and helping them become more knowledgeable, confident and effective conservative activists.

While living in Southern California, Eddie served on the Hawthorne Airport (HHR) Committee for three years.  The committee reviewed the Airport's fuel tax and tiedown fee structures, and developed plans for an Airshow combined with the West's only qualifying tournament for the Memphis in May National Barbecue Championships.

In Nevada, Eddie served on the Governor's Task Force researching the promotion of Medical Tourism in the state. While the task force did work with the LVCVA to get out a medical provider directory for Las Vegas, there were few resources allocated to this process, and the force is no longer meeting.

A son of two college professors, Eddie grew up in Hillsdale, MI and graduated from Hillsdale College in 1986.  For those who may not know of Hillsdale, it began staking out a place as a leading Conservative institution of higher learning when it refused to comply with Title IX (and the bureaucratic oversight that went with it), walking away from Federal grants and withstanding legal actions to come away as a strong voice for independent, private education centered around conservative values.  While at Hillsdale, Eddie was elected Treasurer of the Student Federation and served as Assistant Sports Information Director.

Eddie is an inactive California CPA, and has an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Business.

Eddie and his wife, JoEllen (JoJo), have been married for almost 13 years and moved to Las Vegas in 2004.  They are proud parents of two very spoiled and very loved American Eskimo dogs, Kobe1 Knobie and Frosty Bear.
